Always Darkest

One of the biggest themes of the Elesara Series is morality and what defines right and wrong. Always Darkest, by Jess and Keith Flaherty, is another story that dives into that hefty topic.

Reading Always Darkest, I find myself weaving through shorter, pointed, chapters that paint a vivid picture without overloading you with information and backstory. It’s a story where the pages fly past you as you read, and you don’t want to put it down until you know more.

The story deals with angels and demons, with many names you may know, but Jess and Keith write in a way that explains and personifies each character enough that any reader can enjoy, even without any prior exposure to classic names.

The first few chapters are available free on kindle. I hope you’ll check them out!

Everybody loves a hero. Everybody loves an antihero with a heart of gold. Nobody loves a demon. Nobody but Mal Sinclair, though she doesn’t know it. Ben was just looking for a vacation from hell, but wound up finding his life’s purpose instead. Always Darkest, Book I of The Arbitratus Trilogy, draws you into a world of angels and demons walking among us, a world where good and evil are not absolutes. An ancient prophesy sets the stage, but the players will decide the outcome. And the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

Jess and Keith Flaherty are one of those married couples sitcoms never get right. They have been together for over twenty years and still can’t get enough of each other’s company. As a couple, Jess and Keith love to cook together, go hiking, and spend time together and with their boys. Of course, they also love writing together. From fantasy, to horror, to romance, to humor, if you check out Jess and Keith’s work, you won’t be disappointed!
